They will straight up lie to your face. They will use every tactic even if it means lying to secure a sale from you. This means rushed paperwork, required money up front to even run your credit to see what your finance rate is. Get everything in writing before signing or doing anything with them. Avoid Chris in finance because he'll lie all day to your face.

Purchase RV

Absolutely one of the worst experiences ever. In trying to purchase an RV, the sales person Ron was fantastic to deal with but everyone else kept dropping the ball so I decided to try elsewhere.

I came back to Holiday World for that same RV. It was the perfect one. But I insisted on only working with Ron and NOT Sean (terrible finance person). Things went well until I flew from Georgia to Texas to finalize the purchase.

Chris ( new finance person) tried the hard close insulting my intelligence and dropped the price from over $30,000 for add-on junk. Saying it included a ceramic coat application the can be do in less than 2 hours. I knew then, it was all junk. After about 5 minutes and several tries, he dropped the price to below $8,000.

What could it have been worth if he dropped the price that much that fast. After asking Chris numerous time to get the tax and fees verified and correctly add to the contract, he just wouldnt. Now they owe me almost $3,000 since they over estimated taxes and fees. And now they will not send me the money they owe me.

I agreed to finance the RV (the dealership and Chris make money on that). Now Im battling with the finance company BMO because they cant identify me. Since I had not received any payment book or account information the day before the first payment due, I called BMO. They dont have my phone number or my birth date so they cant identify me and provide ANY information from account number or payment location.

Looks like Ill end up with a late payment and extra interest because Holiday World of Katy Texas again failed to do the right thing. When I asked Chris to get involved, he promised to get back to me the next day, that was a week ago. No word from anyone. I call BMO daily trying to get this resolved.

We are getting closer but no resolution yet.

Interest and penalties could be several hundred dollars not to mention the blemish on my credit report. Im now trying to pay the loan off in full but cant since BMO cant identify me.

Buyer beware of Holiday World of Katy Texas.

Nothing has changed. Haven't heard anything from Holiday World Willis.

I wasted over $1200 on a poor roof "seal and clean". Service Department non-existent.

Run away as fast as you can! Holiday World of Willis TX is the worst service department I have ever dealt with.

They overcharge you for terrible repairs and service. They refuse to provide any customer service. I spent nearly $2000 at Holiday World Willis TX having my travel trailer roof "cleaned and sealed" and to have my slide cables "lubricated". They made an absolute mess of my trailer then they just argue with you and "pass you up the food chain" until you just give up.

See my yelp review for the after pictures. Absolutely horrible. I will have to redo everything they did to my RV. Do not take your RV here for service.

As one review says, "Run, don't walk" away from Holiday World Willis TX. Service advisor doesn't care, passes you to service manager in training who in turn passes you to service manager who then passes you "up the food chain". First names only, no job titles. They don't know the owner's name!

Yeah right. Be warned!

This service department does the worst work I've ever seen and I'm 68 years old! RUN!!

Their work looks like it would pass RV industry standards with flying colors. The entire RV industry is rife with sloppy, poorly done construction.

Get away from any RV dealers to get quality repairs or service, or do it your self.

(that's what I do) The RV dealers only see this type of poor workmanship on incoming units. Your repairs look completely normal to them.

Worst service ever

Well after buying their top of the line Class A diesel pusher. My new 2023 spend just over 3 months in their service department having one thing after another repaired.

From toilets that dont flush not even after they already fixed them the first time to trim falling off to fans not working, I can go on and on all the little stuff that should have never been an issue. After I was finally told I could pick it up the AC stopped working as I was pulling off the lot.

I took over $50,000.00 loss and traded it in right then for a Renegade Super C. Two weeks later I finally got to take it out and engine break and air brakes stopped working along with several other items. Over 1 1/2 months later Im told its ready this is after 6 failed attempts to pick it up after receiving a call from Holiday World Service Department when all the work wasnt even completed.

Well summer is now over and kids back in school.

Stay away Holiday World Katy. The service department is full of incompetent people.

You purchase and you are on your own

I purchased March 24 2022 new Alpine made by Keystone. I have fought with them for 1 yr and they had it in their shop more than we had possession of it but this was our home full time.

We were out of pocket money taking it back and forth 1 1/2 hrs plus diesel! We had to comepletely unload it each time ! The kitchen slide was not right from day one and it took almost the whole year to get it fixed BUT it works great now! They had to remove new washer and install another after about 15 loads of laundry, They are on rear of coach and so bounce up and down on our rough roads !

A interior water line got busted. They attempted to hold it to wall and floor with screws which only ripped out! QUICK FIX for any one who needs assistance. I went to a thright store purchased a large stuffed pillow from sofa and proceded to stuff it on top of washer and dryer!!!

Paid $1.50 WOW they couldn't think of cushioning!!! Put pillows on the sides also. It doesn't give a bit. We had water leaking in 2 compartments their fix was slide the kitchen unit in everytime it rains.

I would say just never purchase from Holiday World of Alvardo TX. once you buy from them you are locked in to taking your unit back to them for service. I wasn't told that at time of purchase! I tried to reslove all these problems cause this one is a lemon by trading it in on a new one BUT they wanted me to pay another $35,000 for an identical one same year and everything!!!

I couldn't afford to do that so I am stuck with this one and have to pay $750 monthly. My husband and I are in our 70's and live on SS .

We sold our home of 42 years paid off everything bought this and a 2022 Dodge Ram Dulley so we are deep in debt for our age. We are back to living paycheck to paycheck thanks to this!

Was going to look another RV in Houston from Austin 170 away. well, they called me when I got close to Houston and said we have deal of the century, at this point They knew I had cash, and going to look at a RV in Houston, So I stopped in went in dealership man I was talking to was busy so John said he would help me.

golf ride to deal of century. People were inside so we went back inside. Sat at table couple sat down at table next to us, Mabe one hour later John was back and forth at this point. I started a conversation with them they told me they want same deal of century (Ha Ha) We are looking at they didn't have cash like us.

Was told two things for sure no sale without test drive and it was 8 air bag system. I didn't worry about it then, because only 4 air bag system had issue with trailing arm breaking. No test Drive Oh the Owner was in dealership that day. Other things happen but we will move on.

Ride home was bad 1/2 half for sure roads got bumpy after hwy.10 to 71 north to late to turn around went home called next day, they didn't care talk to them for weeks. (THEY DON'T CARE AT ALL) Oh horn was out said would send new they sent toy Horns. ( ha,ha,ha,) First time. put on Kids bike.

Any way got home driver side trailing arm is broken can't drive my new coach till i put $6.000 into it. STAY AWAY YOU WILL THANK ME LATER...

MY NAME IS HARRIET IRWIN I LIVE IN KAUFMAN TX I WENT TO ALVARADO TO TRADE IN MY 2021 GEORGETOWN MOTORHOME IN MARCH. THEY WERE MORE THAN HAPPY TO SELL ME A 5TH WHEEL WHICH I MADE THEM AWARE THAT I WOULD BE LIVING IN IT FULL TIME ON MY DAUGHTERS PROPERTY.

IT HAS BEEN PULLED ONCE TO TOW TX TO VISIT FAMILY AND ONCE TO THE DEALERSHIP IN JUNE TO HAVE MANY PROBLEMS ADDRESSED. THE KITCHEN SLIDE WOULDN'T CLOSE THEY SENT A MAN OUT WITH A NEW MOTOR. HE DID MORE DAMAGE THAN GOOD AND LEFT AFTER 2 HOURS. HE TOOK NEW MOTOR WITH HIM SAID HE WOULD BE BACK NEXT MORNING BUT NEVER SEEN HIM.

OF COURSE HE WANTED TO BE PAID FOR HIS TIME OUT$100. SHOULD NEVER HAVE PAID HIM BRIT TUCKER AS HE WAS STILL DRUNK FROM WEEKEND! HE CHANGED OUT THE CONTROL PANEL EARLIER IN THE YEAR AS AIR CONDITIONERS WERE NOT WORKING !!! FRONT ONE STILL DOESN'T WORK RIGHT BUT BED ROOM ONE IS GOOD!!

I have complete empathy for the previous review about Alvaredo. Bought mine in Jan after selling my house and it’s been a nightmare.

They play hot potato and pass you around. Most of all I was told lies that has I known the truth I would not have bought. 47,000 down the drain and I’m older to I’m screwed.

I’m considering a lawsuit. Why can’t they just be normal and honest.

No safety inspection

I went to Holiday world last week and bought an RV cash money they had just gotten it in a few days prior there was two other people looking at the RV and I had cash so I ended up with it they told me they have to do a vehicle safety inspection before I can leave The horns didn't work they sent me red bicycle horns for a kid I complained about that and they sent the correct one for the top of the RV this vehicle is unsafe due to the shocks and the airbags on the front of it driving it home was a nightmare and of course now they don't want nothing to do with me and the owner was at the dealership when I bought it

Bought an RV cash deal in April and still don’t have title or registration!

Holiday World of Las Cruces has to be the absolute worst company to do business with; they go out of their way to be rude, inept, discriminatory-sexist! Im a 71 year old woman who has saved up for my dream rv which I purchased cash deal in April of this year and am still waiting for the title and registration to be sent to me.

It it now July; they told me it would be sent express delivery and just this afternoon I was informed that the plates are at their store in Las Cruces and waiting for pick up- this is a 2 hour trip for me.

They have done nothing but lie to me since I first walked into their store; they couldnt even get the year of the rv correct never mind any of the technicalities. I hire an rv inspector to check out the rig and the salesman was incredibly rude to him.

They are just a bunch of lazy men sitting around like vultures waiting on victims; especially the manager Jason Swindle, who unabashedly likes to tell you that youve been swindled!!!

Stay away from this place! It should be shut down & boarded up!

Stole my manual jack, drilled screws into closet! Didnt do what I brought it there for in the first place; lied about service needed, they said the manufacturer said it wasnt necessary- Not true! I checked with manufacturer! Bought a power jack but still wanted my manual jack ! The power jack should have had a crank in case of dead battery; their didnt give me the crank! Left with more problems than I came with! No satisfaction from their management- Stay away from these unethical liars!

Review bill from Holiday world Katy and the amount paid out of purse was more than stated . The total amount stated on 12/16/2020 receipt was $380.11; not 342.49 which was only the Subtotal on print out given to me.

Paid Cyfair RV to diagnosis furnace and they said Thermostat not working and said take insurance; until the point of call with reason furnace continue to not heat after carrying to Holiday World Katy

I a 75 Year old female purchase a 2017 Wildwood C-Lite RV trailer October 16, 2020 to reside in for a time. Never the less, no experience with RVs or Dealerships. When purchase ,told due diligence done of used unit to make ready for potential buyer. Service Dept guy informed we of their 60 day courtesy check up. December 16,2020, carried Unit to get evaluation. Furnace stopped heating before my son drove it there. My instructions to service person once diagnosis preformed - call Good Sam for payment authorization and me for ($100.00 deductible ). When I came back 7 hours after no contact from the dealership. I was told what master tech diagnosis were, that Good Sam had refused to pay and gave reason the furnace had dirt inside, that they blew it out and reconnect a couple of wires and My charged $341.49 ( Good Sam report they were not contact; only i had done so) the furnace stopped Again 12/23/2020 RV return 12/24:2020 (day before Christmas 2020) told diagnosis done 2nd time and Board was gone out , they would need to order and the following Thursday I needed to bring RV back in for repair. Trust gone by now! Cypress RV Cypress TX recommended. So 15 January 2021 thermostat replaced after another diagnostic where they reported furnace put on bench and it was analyzed for a fee of $149.00 - thermostat replaced. The furnace heated again this time for approximately two hour once back at RV Park. They called with their find and reported oh we do not accept any forms of insurance although they said they did in person when I went to inquire . The service manager stated what was their diagnosis plus repair needed and cost that would be a total of $291.39. The service manager I spoke to in person the 16 January to inform furnace stopped heating. He stated he would send tech to the RV at RV Park located in Brookshire TX on 20 January 2121. I am still waiting for that and it is now March 09, 2021. Is there any RV repair people except the RV people who work on their own RV in Katy TX area with ability, knowledge, integrity and character to get honest repairs on a furnace and who accept Good Sam Insurance or not as elevated with their fee as I have been paying and could have purchased a new furnace . I have believe all the time it is the Thermocouple from all my original research.

DO NOT BUY FROM Holiday World! Buyer beware. Have had nothing but issues since purchasing a brand new motorhome and not one issue has been resolved. Was in the shop for 6 weeks nothing resolved waiting on parts, promised parts would be in 9/26 come in 9/29. Called 9/28 no one would call back, called again 9/29 parts not in, and no one decided to let us know. So if you want to wait 6 weeks just for them to order parts and wait probably another month for them to come then maybe a month or more for them to possibly correct the issue good luck.

Extremely poor customer service

Holiday World will treat you like royalty during the purchase of an RV and will promise you the moon and stars. Their Service and Parts department is another story. Lies, delays, more lies and they flat DO NOT care about you after you drive off the lot. Once the sale is completed you are nothing more to them than what is flushed out of the blank tank of your RV. Wish I had NEVER set foot into the Holiday World showroom.
